We need to display only main categories, no subcategories in product grid. How can this be done?
(Woo shortcodes are no possibility because we want the Enfold product grid styling)Kind regards
DanielJuly 9, 2019 at 8:19 pm #1117179Hey Daniel,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

VictoriaJuly 11, 2019 at 12:57 pm #1117780Hi Victoria,
as i mentioned above, we do not want the woo shortcode but the Enfold product grid.
If it is not possible to show only top level categories with the Enfold product grid then the categories of default woo shop page, which is not our start page, would be a solution. How to get exact this categories on start page which uses the layout builder under slider?
Please see link of that woo categories standard page in private content.

DanielJuly 16, 2019 at 3:45 am #1119019Hi,
Thank you for the update.
You will have to use the WooCommerce shortcode for that as shown in the previous thread. That is the easiest and probably the only way to display the top level product categories.

i was expecting that. It would be a great feature for future releases if that could be done within Enfold.
