Hi, we’re having 2 big problems after updating tot 4.5.5. (FTP, deleting old Enfold folder and uploading new version).

We cannot edit any pages, it shows the following error: (see private)

Also we’re getting dozens of spam messages a day, where before there were none at all.

Please help us out with these issues.

    Kind regards,
    PresentIT

    Hey PresentIT,

    Which php are you running?

Please post your FTP credentials in private.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hey Victoria,

    PHP 7.1 and also tried 7.3. Now it’s 7.3.

Our webhoster blocks access through FTP for other countries than The Netherlands.
In that case we need your IP for whitelisting.

    Regards,

    Remco

    Hi,

Thank you for using Enfold – and sorry for the late reply.

This error message occurs because the file enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-template-builder\php\save-buildertemplate.class.php could not be loaded properly – probably it is missing or corrupted.

Might be that the update went wrong or you had corrupted files.

So please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your ThemeForest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works.

    Best regards,
    Günter

    Hello,

I’ve uploaded the theme again and it seems to be working now. Unfortunately, nobody answered my spam question:
‘Also we’re getting dozens of spam messages a day, where before there were none at all.’

I’ve implemented Google ReCaptcha v3 and I’m aware of the fact that it’s process is hidden to the user in V3 vs. V2. But it seems that it doesn’t work, because normally we see a ReCaptcha icon in the bottom right. How can we confirm that it is implemented correctly?

    Regards,
    Remco

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

because normally we see a ReCaptcha icon in the bottom right.

We removed that label because it doesn’t really sit well with the theme’s design. The submit button label should change to “Authenticating..” while the verification is running in the background and then change back to the default submit button label once the user is verified. That is when you’re using v3. For v2, you should see the captcha widget.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
