    Hi!

I want our site icon (a little meditator in a circle) appear to the left of the site name when people search for our site on google. However, as you can see via the link below, unfortunately we do not have our logo, but the generic wordpress logo instead:

So I tried uploading an image for the Site icon under the Site identity section. However, I keep getting a message that says:
Post-processing of the image likely failed because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.

I have tried uploading an image that is 26KB and another image that is only 3KB so I don’t think the problem is that the image is too large.

Do you know how we can fix this?
    Thank you

    Hey Tarakbc,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please share the image you are trying to use with us.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks so much for your reply.

I tried to upload the logo again from a different computer and now I was able to upload the image.

However, the generic wordpress logo is still appearing to the left of the site url when I search on google on a mobile device (the same as the screen in my first message in this thread).

Is there anything you can do about this? Or perhaps we just need to wait a day or so for it to be updated on the web?

See the details you need in the private content section if necessary.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I can see your favicon on my end, so it seems to be working as it should. We can’t do much about the search engine results pages though, they will be updated once the search engine has indexed your site again, and that can take some time. You could try to request indexing from the search engine though, that might speed up the process.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
