    Hi,
I have various Enfild instalIations and generated several new APIT token from my Enfold purchases. Updating from 4.4.1 towards 5.xx works fine for several pages

With his page the procedure does not work: https://fitgutschein.de.

I’ve read various forum posts and followed the instructions acc.,
    – Max upload size is 250MB
    – I use the “update theme from zip file” plugin as proposed
    – I tried to upload the actual enfold.zip file

But I always get the failure message “Der Link, dem du gefolgt bist, ist abgelaufen.”

Thank you very much for your help. acc. & beste regards, Tilman

    Hey Tilman,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

Also please read this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/

    Best regards,

    Hey Rikard,
thx – as mentioned, I’ve read the related posts (also the ones you mentioned) and followed the instructions several times. But with this installation it does not work and I don’t know why and what to do either

Maybe you can have a look via temp login?

    A solution is highly appreciated.

    Best regards Tilman

    Hi Tilman,

Thanks for the update and clarification. We can do the update for you, but then we need WordPress admin and FTP login details, please post them in private. We also need to verify that you have proper backups of the site in case something should go wrong?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Dear Team,
I called my hosting provider and they checked & confirmed that PHP 7.2. is running for this url. So I can not understand where / why you find the “server settings” info PHP 5.6.

Furthermore, I´ve added a htaccess entry of 64MB max upload size in addition to the 256MB mem limit

But I still get an timeout message if I try to upload enfold.zip via the WP theme panel.

I don’t know what to do. Thank you very much in a advance for solving this problem

    Best regards Tilman

    Hi Victoria,
just FYI – The root cause is finally found: Our WP installation is routed towards a different server (still with PHP 5.6.)

    So, my fault :-)

However, thx a lot. Topic can be closed

    Best regards Tilman
