    My homepage was not showing at all sayinf that there was a problem with connecting to the database. After getting in touch with the service provider I changed in my configuration for my software the DB host from “localhost” to “127.0.0.1”. After then the following warning showed up:

    Can someone help me on this issue?

    Hi Haarkunst-Trier,

    Can you tell us the version of Enfold that you are using?
    If it’s not the latest version, please backup your site and update it to the latest version.

    Dear Nikko,

    thank you a lot for your quick reply. My current Parent Theme (Enfold) Version Number is 4.5.2

    I just made a backup and saw that I recieved an email saying the following:

    Hi Haarkunst-Trier,

    We’d like to let you know that an update to your item Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme by Kriesi is now available in your Downloads page.

    Remember: you need to be logged in to download the update.

    Login as Haarkunst-Trier and download this update

    You may manage notifications for your items from your downloads.

    May it have to do something with this? I never did this update, so maybe this caused the problem?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. The email has nothing to do with the problem you are having, but please try updating to the latest version of the theme (4.7.6.4) to see if that helps: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
