    Hi,

Thanks for this magnificent theme :)

I have a (mostly) single page Web. When the active section is reached scrolling, the link selected and colored as active link-section is always the previous one, not the corresponding of the active section.

If I remove LayerSlider widget form the page, everything works fine.

I’ve searched the forums for answers with no luck.

    Please help mep.

    Hey!

Can you please add a section name to layer slider also and let us know if that would fix your issue?

    Regards,
    Basilis

    Hey Basilis,

What you mean for add a section name?. I can add a Color Section, give it a name (ID) but LayerSlider widget won’t move inside.

    Thanks.
    Juan.

    Hey please, ¿any advice?. Thanks…

    #780432

    Hi WarpMedia,

I think what he meant is to use the Layer Slider div id for the first menu item, not the #top.
Please, try this and let us know if it helped.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Hi Victoria and thanks for your help.

Unfortunately that didn’t help. Tried using the slider div ID (‘layer_slider_1’) but it’s not working.

I noticed this div in the source code. It’s just below the <header>.
    <div id='main' class='all_colors' data-scroll-offset='128'>

    Is it normal?

    Thanks.
    Juan.

    Hi WarpMedia,

    Yes, that is normal.
Please refer to this thread for a possible solution.

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria,

I’ve checked the post but essentially it’s the same fix Basilis suggested, right?. That didn’t work.

    Juan.

    Hi,

I checked your website, but your anchor links seem totally fine to me. Where exactly can we see the issue? a screenshot would be helpful (imgur.com, Dropbox).

Maybe this plugin is for you: https://wordpress.org/plugins/hash-link-scroll-offset/

    Best regards,
    Andy

Hi Andy and thanks for your help.

Unfortunately that plugin didn’t work because it’s not an offset problem, it’s a active menu link problem. Let me explain:

Clicking in the main menu moves the scroll to the appropriate section perfectly, but the menu item colored in white it’s always the precedent item, not the actual item. For the actual menu item get colored in white, you have to scroll way inside the section. It’s like there is some sort of offset in the active menu item calculations.

I’m attaching some screenshots in the private content field. Hope it helps to clarify the problem.

    Thanks again.
    Juan.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We recreated the layout of the page on our local installation but we can’t reproduce the issue. Did you add any custom modification to the menu items or the header?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #804980

    Hi Ismael.

I have switched off all my custom CSS and disabled all the plugins with no luck. The menu item highlighted is always the precedent, not the actual.

Do you have a paid/premium support tier please?. I need to get rid of this situation ASAP or I will have no choice but change my favourite WordPress theme for years.

    Thanks for your help.
    Juan.

In the meantime, can you please point me to the jQuery function that does the highlight of the current section please?.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Can you give a screenshot to the section you are referring? I checked the screenshot above but it seems it points to the menu.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
