hi, I am making a hosting change and it happens that the display of the website through the host file is different from the one that is currently publicly visible. It is as if a previous version of the site was visible and not the current one.
Here is the answer of the hosting service:
“Hello,
the problem is that some contents, by modifying the hosts file, are not loaded because they do not exist on our server (and I checked that they do not even exist on the source server). In particular, taking the homepage as an example, some js (javascript) and css files are generated which generate a 404 response code (not found).
On the hosting space, the wp-content / themes / enfold folder does not exist, so the server correctly responds with the 404 response code. Those contents are probably loaded only through the cloudflare cdn. I don’t know the configuration of the theme, and it is necessary to contact the developer of the site to understand how to solve (maybe you should simply disable the cdn).”How can I solve this problem? Thank you

July 17, 2019 at 6:22 pm #1119647Hi Giuseppe40,
The theme does not and cannot do anything with your host files. This must be some server configuration issue. The theme options are saved in the database.
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 18, 2019 at 8:50 am #1119842ok moreover I have a problem with the enfold layout builder: since I updated the theme and wordpress I can no longer open the sections of the icon box, special title and other functions.

You might want to update your php to php7+ and see if the issue persists.

VictoriaJuly 19, 2019 at 9:35 am #1120111Please help me solve my problem: I can’t find the folder with the parent enfold theme in my provider even though it’s visible in the dashboard (and I don’t understand where it is). When I uploaded the new version of Enfold I used the “update theme and plugin from zipo file” plugin

GiuseppeJuly 20, 2019 at 4:17 am #1120374Hi,
Sorry for your problem, this is very likely not a theme problem though. When I select to edit the page in private then it loads correctly, I got 525 errors when trying to edit other pages though. It seems to be a Cloudflare problem, what happens if you turn that off? Also please try to disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them.
Best regards,
Rikard -
