    Hi,
    My site is http://elizabethsteinglass.com and since the WP4.0 update or the most recent Enfold update, Avia Layout Builder is not loading when I try and edit pages through the WP dashboard.

    Hey connect4consulting!

    You’ll need to update to Enfold version 2.9.2 which was released just before WordPress 4.0 came out to bring the theme up to date with the new WordPress version/code.

    Theme updates don’t update automatically in general. As for updating, the link above has a video showing step by step directions and is our documentation answering your question.

    I’m having the same problem with Avia Layout Builder. However, Enfold is telling me that my version (2.9.2) is up to date.

    Are there any further steps I can take here? My client needs updates done to his site, and I’m unable to edit anything.

    Yes, that was the first thing I did. No apparent conflicts, but the editor still doesn’t load with all other plugins deactivated.

    Yigit and Devin,
    You didn’t answer my question about the theme update. If I have a child theme, all I do is upload the new Enfold theme files to the parent theme, right?

    Yes, you only ever update the parent them. You update a child theme if it needs to be updated but we can’t ever answer that since each individuals child theme is custom.

    I’m afraid I’m having the same issue.

    I have updated the theme this morning.
    I have de activated ALL plugins via FTP.

    Nothing has worked – Layout Builder will not load, and I can’t even access drop down menus in widgets.

    Any other suggestions we could try? log in info sent via private msg.

    I just logged to your installation and the layout builder seems to work fine, can you re-check it or give more details on which page is not working?.

    I’ve tried everything I can think of, and I’m at a loss here. Layout builder will not load in Chrome, Firefox or Opera.

    I went back and re-checked plugins. It looks like the Comprehensive Google Maps plugin causes Avia to stop working.

    Hi @DWNY!

    Any plugin that is not compatible with WP 4.0 will cause issues to other components of the installation.

    Hi,
    I have a strange problem during “Page Edit.” All of the center column information now resides on the lower right column. Please view images:

    This happened before updated WP 4.0, so I updated and have the latest Enfold. I deactivated plugins (except WooCommerce), but cannot find the culprit.

    Can you please recommend next steps?

    Does it only happen to the Hypnotherapy page? i duplicated that to a Test page and couldn’t reproduce the issue.
