Hi there- I am helping a customer with his site, which is using Enfold. Nice work, btw!
The issue is that we went to make a simple change (a couple of words) and when we updated the page, the entire contents of the home page are gone now. Everything – wiped out.
I will include some details in the private content portion below.

I would gladly pay for support, but we do not have any information from the original site developer.
Please let me know as soon as possible and I will do whatever is required.

    Thank you!

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the login details. On which page are you having this problem?

I see that you are running an old version of the theme, I would recommend that you update to the latest version of the theme as soon as possible. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi there – thanks!

There doesn’t seem to be any update – says latest version.
It is occurring on the home page. If I preview, my content is there.
If I hit update – or leave it as is now – the live site has zero content in the center of site.
Just the header and footer are appearing now.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jeff,

You have to update manually like I wrote in my post above, please try following those instructions.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
