    Hi Guys,

    from the masonry view, when selecting a portfolio group or taxonomy
    The view changes to only that filtered category, but when opening the lightbox i’m still able to see the unfiltered images.
    Any tips?

    The Masonry should be linking to the individual portfolio posts instead of opening up in lightbox. Can you send us a link to your page?

    Hi Elliot,

    You are absolutely right. I meant the filter on the portfolio grid. There is an option to open to the AJAX gallery and to open the big image in a lightbox. When i select open in lightbox the category filter does filter the grid but when opening an image up in the lightbox the images that are supposed to be filtered out are visible.

    by the way.. is it possible to have the masonry open the linked photo(s) in a lightbox or the AJAX style gallery?
    I like the way the masonry looks and feels but not all posts have multiple images. (see other topic)

    Hey!

    Hmm, I’m not sure I understand. So in the Mazda AJAX preview you have 3 images, your just wanting to display one there? Or are you wanting each image to open up in lightbox individually and not as a gallery?

    Heyy Elliott,

    the thing that i’m trying to accomplish are the following;
    Some portfolio items are series of photographs, with a story (like the mazda post) but some are just one photograph instead of a serie. Like the Georgia photo.

    From the portfolio grid I wonder if it’s possible to link some to the ajax gallery with the post (like mazda) en the single pictures in a lightbox.

    And i’m wondering if this is also do able for the masonry gallery. From the masonry gallery i’m looking to open a post or a lightbox. Not just a post because some are series with need to have an image list, but some are just one picture and it does not make sense to open a post and click again just to open that single picture in lightbox.

    The SEO explains that we need to keep the clicks to a minimum, so that extra click from the masonry to a post to the image in a lightbox is a click too many for a single picture post.

    Hi!

    Hmm, well I can’t think of an easy way to mix them like that. It would probably be best to just display a Masonry for the posts and then below that use a Masonry Gallery for just the images or something similar. You can get really creative with our column shortcodes.
