Hi Guys
I was wondering if there is any way of getting the Ajax gallery from the portfolio grid working for the masonry display?
I currently have the following issue
Some of my photographs are a serie, and some of my portfolio images are just one image of a serie.
Is it possible to get the masonry to be selective with so you get the portfolio post with multiple images when there are more images and directly a lightbox when there’s just one image? or a minor combination of that? Or from the masonry display open a lightbox that scrolls the images of the multiple image post?yeah i know it’s confusing.. but i don’t know how to proceed. From the portfolio grid it opens a post with list and a text box. That’s cool for multiple pics but for one single pic post it doens’t make sense.
last problem;
from the masonry view, when i select a taxonomy it filters that that, but as I click on an image to open lightbox i’m still able to scroll the pics that should be filtered out. Can you guys help me out here?thanx

I’m sorry but I’m not sure I understand. The portfolio AJAX feature has a filter option as well so it’s pretty much the same thing as the Masonry element.
Go ahead send us a link to your page and take a screenshot highlighting what your trying to do so we can get a better idea.

The masonry can open images via lightbox but you need to set the Overwrite Portfolio Link setting of the portfolio item to define a custom link. Add the url of the image or video. For post with only single images, you can do this then for those with multiple or series, you can let masonry to open it on its actual post page.

thank you for your reply. This works for the masonry. But the filter does not filter the lightbox.
(if I filter on category, fashion, glamour or automotive in can still scroll trough the unfiltered images in lightbox)
But how do I get this to also work with the portfolio grid to load the ajax gallery/list for a series and a single lightbox for a single image.I’ve set it up like you described. But the portfolio grid still opens the gallery (post) for a single image after displaying the lightbox.

What do you mean by ” filter does not filter the lightbox.”? I test this on my installation, defined a custom link (image) for a single portfolio item, set a masonry page, once clicked the image open in a lightbox but it doesn’t include other images in the masonry. Please provide a link to the page.
