Problem customizing the main blog page

Hi,
We want to customize the page where we list the blog posts, adding a Layer Slider just before the blog entries element.
When we add the Layer Slider, the blog element breaks and the sidebar is moved to under the entries list. If we remove the Layer Slider it works ok, it is something very rare.

Looking into the html source, we see this happend becouse the sidebar code is mover out of the container div.

Do you have any idea where is the problem?
