    Hi,
    The majority of the preview images of products and pages are no longer being scraped properly by WhatsApp, Fb, and other services.
    I suspect cache.
    Could you please help? Couldn’t find anything on search that might be helpful.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. Did you try running the URL through the Facebook debugger? https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/

    Also, is the image set as the featured image? If so then there is no guarantee that it will show up in the preview, I would suggest that you use an SEO plugin like Yoast to define the image which should be used when sharing on social networks.

    Hi,

    I’m not sure to be honest with you, it’s might be caching like you suspected. Both on your site and on the social network in question. All you can do is to clear the cache on your site and wait for the cache to expire on the network and hope that it works after that I guess.

    I have a similar question/problem. I’m using yoast SEO and my ‘featured image’ will appear in social media posts (i.e. linkedin) but the snippet or description will not display. I’ve tried adding a description as a yoast SEO snippet and as an expert and no luck. Any suggestions?
