    Hi,

I have a page with several post using the Masonry with blog entries element, almost all in the link format.
I enter URL but some of these urls are long. I noticed that some links get cut off once I click on the post title. For example:

I have the post with link
    https://hitinfrastructure.com/news/new-healthcare-blockchain-effort-to-eased-credentialing-burden
    The browser opens this link
    https://hitinfrastructure.com/news/new-healthcare-blockchain

    Another link is
    https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/procredex-announces-launch-of-partner-program-with-national-government-services-spectrum-health-system-wellcare-accenture-and-the-hardenbergh-group-300746100.html
    The browser opens
    https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/procredex-announces

    This for instance works fine.

I don’t find any info/solution anywhere. Can you help please.

    Thank you

    Hey Kyle,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Thanks for helping out.
I added the admin access credentials in the private content box.

I think this only happens in with masonry element. But we need to use this element, because of the filter option.

Hope you can help sort this out.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I have tested this on my localhost and was able to recreate this, but I’m unsure of a solution so I have submitted this along with my test results to the dev team to review.
I will reply when the dev team posts a reply to the issue, thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike

We have been in a bind over this for almost a month now with the site. We have deadlines approaching soon and could really use some attention on this – thanks in advance!

I’m sorry but I am losing my patience a bit. My client has needed a fix for a month now and I cannot keep telling them to hold their breath.

I totally understand you do NOT have a crystal ball to predict how long this will take, but I need better mgmt of expectations than ‘thanks for your patience’ when our case is going weeks with zero effective response.

If you cannot provide any ETA or idea for when we might have more feedback than ‘be patient’ we need to know so we can develop a workaround… any idea when the dev team might be touching this? A day? A week? Months?

    Hi,
Sorry, I can not provide an ETA, it is strange that the URLs are being trimmed at 61 characters, as you had also posted a workaround in your second post, which was using a shorter link that was not good for SEO, I didn’t look for another workaround for you to use, but I have found that the masonry element works correctly with portfolio items set with external links, but note that in the portfolio items you will need to add the link to the “Overwrite Portfolio Link setting” field, but the good news is that it is the same element and layout that you are currently using, unfortunately, you would need to convert your posts to portfolio items.
If you do convert your posts into portfolio items you could also use the portfolio grid with external links, which gives you more styling options.
I also see that the blog grid works correctly for link type posts, but it’s not the same layout as the masonry element.
Perhaps one of these options will help?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
The dev team has released a patch for your issue, in the Private Content area you will find a link to the patch that belongs at /enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/av-helper-masonry.php please keep a copy of your current file for fallback, after replacing the file please ensure to clear your cache, server & browser, and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike
