    Hi There,

We are looking for a way to add a category to the masonry posts. We found this solution: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/post-category-in-the-mesonary-blog/

It works, but not as expected, as it shows the category, but it is not clickable.

Is there a solution for that?

    Thanks, T.

    Hi elbnetz,

Could you provide us with a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?

    Regards,

    Hi,

Not sure exactly what you’ve done there but the whole content is wrapped in an a tag so everything is linked to the same place?

    Thanks,
    Rikard

This the original a wrap. We only moved it around.

    Hi,

I’m not sure I understand what you mean, if you have all the content wrapped in an a tag then all the content will have the same link, it will be difficult to have a separate link for the category then?

    Regards,
    Rikard

We know that this is difficult. That is the reason, why we ask you as the experts. It wasn’t us to warp everything up in an a tag. This is by default. we only followed the instructions to implement the categories. Now in an ideal world there is a way to add the category outside the a tag.

    Cheers, T.

    Hi!

it would require a huge amount of time and customization of the theme and that is why you would need to hire a freelance developer for this job.

    Best regards,
    Andy
