Hi,
I’ve been trying to work out why the Avia Layout Builder fails to load on some pages, just displaying the spinning wheel, and loading fine on others.
After re-building those pages again piece by piece and saving as I go to see what element breaks the builder, it turns out it’s the text block… but not just the text block, a very specific word with the text block.
That word is “include” – as soon as I add that 1 specific word, the builder fails to load.
Is there a workaround for this? are you aware of this issue?
Currently running Version 4.7.4, and PHP is set to version: 7.0.33
Hi,
Sorry for the problem, that is a known issue with some servers unfortunately. Please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#troubleshoot
Troubleshoot: Text Block element not loading
This is a rare case but if typing certain words, such as “get” or “include“, in Text Block element breaks it after saving, there might be a modsec rule in firewall settings causing this issue.
This is a security measure taken by hosting providers and it is not a theme issue. You can contact your hosting providers and ask them to whitelist those words and that should fix the issue.
Best regards,
Rikard
Thanks for the response Rikard, I probably should have been aware of that but I didn’t look into it before I posted – sorry.
