    Hi there-

    After the latest Enfold update (4.4), pages that use the Portfolio Grid displays all the Preview Text for the entries at the footer of the page and does not display it within the preview. Also, videos no longer play when embedded in preview text with the video short code. This issue appears to be limited to Portfolio Grids that have video embedded, since our other Grids with standard HTML appear correctly.

    And just to give you an update, we have created a test page where the problem is replicated. The issue has persisted after the 4.4.1 update

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I can’t reproduce the issue on my own installation. Did you add any custom modifications to the theme or external scripts? Please provide the FTP details in the private field.

    We haven’t made any modifications to the theme other than what’s in the QuickCSS area in the theme’s settings. The only thing I can think of that would affect theme files would be the “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin we have installed that just adds in some of our tracking and analytics scripts so it’s persistent when there are theme updates. But disabling the plugin and flushing the dynamic cache hasn’t resolved the issue.

    I did notice an error came up when I ran SiteGround’s PHP compatibility plugin. We’re running PHP 7.0.30, so I’m not sure if this message applies (and running 5.6.36 didn’t affect the issue).

    Thanks for the update. Please disable the “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin temporarily. Move the analytics and tracking code in the theme’s Google Services panel.

    This is a hypothetical issue, the /e modifier (the one that is being deprecated) is not used in that code, the code works fine.

    Hi,

    We had the same issue, after upgrading to Enfold 4.4.1, in our portfolio page some ‘_preview_text’ were displayed after the footer.

    We fix it temporarily by commenting wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/portfolio/portfolio.php line 785

    //$params['text'] = get_post_meta( $id ,'_preview_text', true);
