Hi,
We use the portfolio grid component with the option to sort by portfolio category enabled.
This works on the original language page (German) but the category filters are missing on the translated pages (English and Italian).
The portfolio entries themselves correctly show up on the translated pages – just the sorting filters are not displayed.
The used portfolio categories are translated.Links to the pages with the problem are included as private content.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the inquiry.
You have to translate the portfolio categories or taxonomies as well. Have you done that? If not, please refer to the following documentation for more info.

September 18, 2019 at 3:24 pm #1139521Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Did you create the translations manually? You have to do it in the plugin’s Taxonomies Translation panel as instructed in the documentation. Please post the login details in the private field so that we can check the settings.

September 20, 2019 at 4:03 am #1140084Hi,
The translation of the portfolio categories are not displaying in their respective languages. You should be able to select the translated term in the portfolio grid element, but it’s not the case in your installation. How did you create and translate the portfolio categories?
UPDATE: The translated categories are not displaying when the block builder is active. We set the editor to classic temporarily. You can adjust that in the Theme Options panel. Just look for the “Select Your Editor” settings.

IsmaelSeptember 20, 2019 at 9:24 am #1140149Hi Ismael,
Frankly, I can’t recall how we created and translated the portfolio categories at first. But as I see it there aren’t that many options to do this anyway, are there? All I can say for sure is that we didn’t create them programmatically.
The switch to the classic editor worked, though! As we don’t use the block editor anyway we will leave it at this option.
Thank you for your help!
