    What is happening? All of my Enfold sites are now back to showing they need a plugin update and no updates are shown. This was corrected supposedly with 4.2 update? Now they are back all by themselves.
    Do you know what is going on and when will it be fixed? Clients upset :-(

    Hey elames,

    This is the Layer Slider needing an update. It comes with Enfold and is updated with the theme update. It is a plugin and so WordPress registers it as the one needing an update. If you don’t use Layer Slider you can deactivate it, here is how to do it

    LAYERSLIDER update issue is BACK!

    But we do use layer slider. So I need it.
    Why is the theme showing it still needs a plugin update? The theme is updated. Why are my sites which are all updated now showing it needs 1 update and there are no updates showing!!! It just happened on its own.

    Hi elames,

    The theme is updated but the Layer Slider update was not included in this Enfold update, that’s why you’re seeing that notification.

    BUT that mean I have to go in and purchase the slider plugin…It was part of your package and was supposed to be updated when the theme is updated.
    But now I just notice on the site that the NEEDS 1 update is gone. So does that mean it has updated automatically??? I am confused.

    So I went to another site I did in Enfold and I still see this

    I thought since it was included in the theme it would update with theme.

    Hi,

    The LayerSlider that is bundled with Enfold is not always the latest, nor is it promised or guaranteed to be. They aren’t always updated at the same time.

    Yes I realize but they said after all the issues in a past update that it would be updated in 4.2. It appears gone on one site I have but not another????
    That is why I am questioning it. Both are updated to 4.2

    Hi elames,

    You don’t have to pay for the license unless you need premium features or/and this 1 plugin update notification becomes annoyingly unbearable. On some installations it shows up, on some, it goes away. There are many different configurations and we do not control this issue.
