I would like to customize Category Pages and have a very basic Category Page which should just show the
category titleasH1, the
category descriptionand some default text at the end.
BTW the category description contains ashortcodereferring to a TablePress table.
What would be the easiest way and “Enfold best practice” to get this result?

If you want a custom category page layout, you need to copy the archive.php file to the child theme and edit it.
Or use some options available in the theme by adding the code from the thread above or this one:
