Hi Support! New problem. I decided not to use Woo Commerce and deactivated and deleted all plugins for it. I had made one product and deleted the product grid that was on a page and saved the page. When I am in the backend there is a code for the product grid in between and overlaying two special headings. To get rid of it, I switched the default editor to block, viewed the page edit area, and deleted the phantom code there. Saved the page. However, that phantom code still shows in the backend, but not when viewing the page. How do I get rid of the phantom code? I’m concerned it will be a problem. Page and site info in the private content. Thank you for all your excellent support through the many years I have used Enfold. Valerie

Thank you for the inquiry.
This product element was probably added when the block editor was still enabled, but the editor is now disabled when we checked. Have you tried switching the builder to debug mode as discussed in your previous thread?

IsmaelOctober 13, 2025 at 4:24 pm #1490134Hi Ismael, Thanks, I got the debug function to add the field to the ALB view and was able to delete the phantom code there. BUT even though I switched back to the “Use WP Classic Editor” in the child theme, that particular page is still showing in the page view that it is the block editor being used, no WP Classic. Yet when I go into the page to edit, the editing tools are the WP Editor. Any idea why? Valerie

How would I do that and keep the debug code in the functions.php file so I don’t have to keep putting in when I’d like to use it another time? Thanks!
October 14, 2025 at 6:00 am #1490159Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Did you install a classic editor plugin? Please disable it, then adjust the Enfold > Theme Options > Select Your Editor settings to use the classic editor. If you need to remove the shortcode field, you’ll have to remove the snippet from the functions.php file. There is no toggle for it by default.
Let us know if you need more info.

IsmaelOctober 14, 2025 at 8:30 pm #1490223Hi Ismael, thanks for the info. I do not have a classic editor plugin, just selected it in the child theme. Will remove the shortcode from functions.php and keep on hand for potential future use. Valerie
October 15, 2025 at 8:39 am #1490237Hi,
You may need to delete the page with the “block editor” status issue and recreate it from scratch. It’s possible that it retained metadata from when the block editor was still active. Let us know if you need more information.
