    Hello,
we have a problem with the Partner Logo Element. When we select a custom post type for the linking of a Logo, both Posts of main language and secondary language are shown in the dropdown. Our Page has 2 languages en and de, set with WPML.

The posts we want to link are our References, so the english and german title is the same and we can’t identify the correct one. We have to edit it one by one and check the frontend.

We think this is a bug, because we are editing an english page, so the dropdown with the custom posts should also be filtered in english only?

    Thank you for a feedback.

    Hey OPTIMAL,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Would you mind posting the site details in the private field? We would like to check how the posts were translated. Did you use the WPML Translation editor, or did you create a clone of the posts?

    The following guide might help.

    Best regards,

    Hello,
at the moment i can’t give you access, i have to create a clone for this, this takes some time. I will come back to this ticket.

We are using WPML for translating the custom post types with the Sidebar Widget + Symbol. We then add the content with the “copy from german content” and the content is translated manually – we use WPML for this, so every page is created in the correct language section.

The Problem is not just for CPTs, the dropdown is also mixed for the Blog. The Problem is in main language and secondary language. In the dropdown for one type, not all posts are listed twice, only some.

We haven’t yet updated to 4.8.6.3

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We haven’t yet updated to 4.8.6.3

What is the current version of the theme? Please note that the latest version of the theme on Themeforest is now 4.8.8.1. You may have to update the theme to make it compatible with the latest version of WPML and hopefully fix the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
