I went through the various threads on the message board and updated all the various settings, but was still unable to import the Construction Demo (or any demo for that matter).

    I’m running WP 5.5.3 on PHP 7.4.

I started turning off plugins one-by-one via cPanel, by simply adding an underscore “_” to the plugin folder name (e.g. from “akismet” to “_akismet”). After I renamed the “maiden-core” plugin folder and attempted to install the demo, it partially worked.

Despite the demo import stating that it included all of the demo images, it did not import any of the images in the demo. So I imported the demo again with the same result. My site only had 5 images on it and the demo added none.

FWIW, Maiden is a RavenBlue theme and the Maiden Core plugin (v1.3) “Includes Portfolio Custom Post Type and WPBakery Page Builder Shortcodes”.

So, here’s my question: short of going through the online demo and downloading each image manually, how can I get the demo images to import?

Note: after the demo completed, I set the various plugin folder names back to their original names.

    See below.

Please note that I have a “Coming Soon” plugin installed, so if you visit the site while not logged in, you’ll see the Coming Soon page.

    Thanks,

    Hi Clay,

Sorry for the late reply. I tried importing the demo again, but no images are imported unfortunately. I can’t see any error messages, so I’m not sure why they are not being imported. We can try to add them manually for you though, do you need all of them, or only some? If you only need some, then please try to specify which ones you need.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I was hoping for all of them, as the demo serves as an almost perfect template for the site I’m building. I reviewed the demo again and didn’t see any that I didn’t want, so yes, please add them manually (unless you can figure out why the import isn’t working and correct that).

    Thanks,
    Clay

    Hey Clay,

FTP logins would be great so please post them privately as well :)
    Thanks!

    Cheers!
