    I give up, I have tried many alternatives to installing the Enfold theme. Done this many times, but now that I want to update this new website, it will not allow me to update. I keep getting this error – (below)
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”La’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE) in /home/lbrowncdtoa/public_html/AAAC_v2/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/wp/notices.php on line 67

    I installed the theme on WP 4.3.1. on Enfold is 3.4.2

    There are no plugin, this is a fresh and clean installation.

    Would could be wrong?, what am I missing?

    Hi Jesse!

    Try completely deleting Enfold from your WordPress theme directory and update via FTP, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/.

    Elliott, I have done the FTP method so many times. different ways, but this theme will not work on this specific domain. strange. So what is the other option? In order for me to get the site back up, I need to switch the theme name in the DB, and then give you guys access to see the website.

    Can you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.4.3 via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
