    I know there have been changes to the theme and to WordPress. Do I need to update the theme? I can no longer see the pages link in the menu. When I try to edit a page with the editable area never loads.

    Please advise.

    It seems there is a conflict with the mortgage calculator plugin the client wanted to use. I deactivated it and now things seem to be back to normal.

    Any thoughts? The client really wanted to use that plugin.

    Hi,
    I have tested the plugin on my localhost with WordPress v5.0.2 & Enfold v4.5.2 and found no errors, I then checked your site and found you are using WordPress v4.3.1 & Enfold v2.4.2
    Please try updating your site and the plugin should work fine.

    Ok I have upgraded my WordPress. When I go to a page now, i don’t see the page builder. I also don’t see the Enfold settings on the menu either.

    Please advise.

    I see that you updated WordPress, but you didn’t update Enfold.

    Hi,
    You will need to manually update the theme. The easiest way is to update via FTP, and if you choose to do that just Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder with the new theme, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors. Please delete the old theme folder “enfold” from within FTP, and then upload the new theme folder.
    If you are not comfortable with FTP then you can follow these steps to use a plugin to update.
    After you update you will need to set up a new Envato Token as the old API has been discontinued, you will find detailed instructions here.

    I have updated the theme, but I don’t see the page builder. Am I missing something? Please advise.

    Hi,
    Unfortunately your theme has not been updated, I’m curious what files you used to update the theme with, can you link to them in DropBox so we can see?
    There have been a lot of changes in Enfold since your version, the header.php in your child theme will have to be replaced with a updated one because it will cause a error. I also believe the footer will have to be replaced too, because we now have a function to set pages as the footer.
    You may want to setup a staging site and test upgrading first to see if your site is compatible, but I recommend creating a full backup, just in case you need to roll it back.
    If you just want to get your page builder working again without updating, you could downgrade the WordPress core to v4.9.8 with this plugin: WP Downgrade
