Hi
I am using the construction demo theme to develop a website. The “service” and related pages (architecture) all appear correctly in the layout editor. However, the content does not appear on the published website. Only the sidebar appears.
I’ve tried clearing caches, disabling plugins and using a different browser, but this makes no difference. I’ve reloaded the demo theme.
I have the latest version of WP and Enfold theme. All the other pages display correctly.I’ve discovered that if I add new content then this displays, but the existing content (e.g. “small projects”) doesn’t show, despite being in the layout editor. Exactly the same thing happens in the sub-page. The “small projects” page displays only content I’ve add, not the existing content.
I’ve reinstalled the Enfold theme and that did nothing.
… Now I’ve found that sliders and galleries don’t show any pictures when used in a page with a sidebar. I’ve tried them in all configurations – within a color section or column, stretched and not stretched.

All of the above seem to work if the page doesn’t have a sidebar. So perhaps it’s something to do with the page layout? I’m using the demo theme files.

May 17, 2018 at 7:44 am #957974Hi,
First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.3.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not then please try to deactivate all the performance features under Enfold->Performance. If you still can’t get it to work after that then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,

Updating the theme didn’t work, but disabling javascript file-merging and compression did. The contents now load.
Thanks,

Great, glad you found the cause of the problem. Are you ok with leaving that functionality off for now?

Yes – that’s no problem.
Thanks,
