    Hi Forum

Is it possible to create an own style for the hamburger overlay menu? Preferably this would be an own page covering the whole screen where I could add images, etc. Something like if you click on the hamburger on https://www.team-creatif.com/en/ (I know this as not been done with enfold…).

    Best regards
    Thomas

    Hey Thomas,

I’m sure it’s possible, but it would require quite extensive modifications and it would not be covered by support unfortunately. If you are looking to hire someone to implement that for you then we recommend Codable.

    Hi Rikard

I finally found time to work on this idea again.
What we would like to achieve is to have the hamburger menu as a permanent menu but also have two or three menu point being permanently visible. That would be the “online demo” and also also a menu point that leads to our free downloads section.
Would it be possible that we in general make the hamburger menu (which I did set up with a CSS code from an existing support case -> permanent burger menu) and the have these few links or menu points being visible permanent next to the burger menu.
Now when I am writing this. It might be possible to set this few menu points just as links into the header, isn’t it?

I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks for your support.

    Best regards, Thomas

    Hi tbraendle,

Well, you can put that menu in the area above header

and have it visible all the time. It is the easiest way to do it.

If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Hi Victoria
    Thanks for your message.
Your idea is actually a good one. But we are currently not so happy with the burger menue as we are looking into a more visualised menue, similar to wpmegamenue widget.
If I add such a widget to the enfold theme, is there a risk that it get’s messy due to update or interfaces between the codes?

    Hi Thomas,

You can try some menu plugin, of course. I’ve seen some users using uber menu plugin.

You can check this thread for the plugins:

    Hi Victoria
thanks for the answer. I found out just during the last days that you offer a mega menu as well. A basic one but still. I will try to go with that one for now. If it is not sufficent for our purpose, then I will check your recommends of the thread. You can close this ticket. Thanks.
