    I am receiving the below error message about outdated WooCommerce templates:

    Your theme (enfold – Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

    Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
    If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

    Is the Enfold theme compatible with WooCommerce? What do I need to do to fix this error so I can update PHP to the latest version? Thank you.

    Hi ipointtech,

    Thanks for posting all those information, Enfold is compatible with Woocommerce, however, the version of your parent theme is still 4.7.6.4 which is released last October 5th 2020, so that version may not be compatible with the latest version of Woocommerce. Please backup your site first and update Enfold to 4.9.2.

    Thank you for your reply. Will we need to buy the parent theme again to obtain the theme update?

    Hi,

    Your theme license is valid for life, so you should not have to buy anything. You can always download the theme files from your Themeforest account. If you haven’t registered your theme license, then please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. Also please read this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    If the files in question are located in a child theme, then you might have to copy them from WooCommerce to your child, then apply your customisation again after that.
