Does your theme have opt-in forms, like such that I can add them to the slider, or anywhere else on the page that support mailing list providers like Get Response, etc?
Many thanks,
JohnMarch 10, 2017 at 8:48 pm #759120Hi John!
Thank you very much for contacting us.
What Enfold Supports, is forms with Mailchimp as integration.Option forms, should be used as plugin and that is the best advice we can give you, because the option is to be secured that you can change
if they are not supported any more, if you need an other way of integration or more abilities ( yes, those options are for plugins ) you will be abl to change fast.Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Best regards,
BasilisMarch 10, 2017 at 9:22 pm #759128JohnGuestThanks Basilis,
Can you tell me which plugin you recommend to be able to produce those forums and be compatible with your theme?
Thanks,
JohnMarch 10, 2017 at 9:28 pm #759130JohnGuestAs an example of what I mean, there is an opt in form in the slider on this demo page of yours
How did you achieve that?
Thanks
March 10, 2017 at 9:53 pm #759139JohnGuestI found another example half way down the page on this one:
Is that opt in an innate feature or a plugin too?
Thanks,
JohnMarch 11, 2017 at 12:40 am #759204Hi,
The opt in form you see in the below screenshot is part of the theme demo.
Hope I answered your questions, if you have more question we are happy to help :)
Best regards,
VinayMarch 11, 2017 at 12:57 am #759209JohnGuestHi Vinay
Unfortunately no image showed for me. Does that opt in form support all mailing list providers, and can it be placed anywhere in the theme?
Please send another screen shot, many thanks!!
And if you can, which other plugin would you recommend that works with your theme for opt ins?
Thanks,
JohnMarch 15, 2017 at 10:10 am #761259Hey!
As I explained on the first topic, only Mailchimp support exists to the theme.
Others have to be as a pluginBest regards,
BasilisMarch 15, 2017 at 10:53 am #761283JohnGuestVinay mentioned that there is an innate opt in as part of the theme. I gave several examples. You (Basilis) say it has to be a plugin. Can you explain what plug in works with your them to achieve the examples above and also on your main theme demo (half way down the page). Can you please be specific. I don’t have mailchimp. I have getresponse. I have clients with aweber. I need some sore of solution for placing opt ins so please explain which ones you are using in the examples I gave above, and how I can achieve that.

like this:
March 17, 2017 at 11:15 pm #762775Hey!
Vinay listed that we support Mailchimp, you do not ask for mailchimp onyl, you ask for general forms. And Option is not just a form, it is also triggers based on actions ( as I explained )
Please register to the forums, for further support assistance.Regards,
BasilisMarch 17, 2017 at 11:50 pm #762781JohnGuestHi,
I tried registering but it says I need a purchase code. I just want to know, ahead of time (before purchasing) if I can incorporate opt in forms anywhere in/on your theme. If the inherent program only supports mail chimp, is there another way to accomplish my goal. I’ll happily purchase if there is a solution.
Thanks,
JohnMarch 22, 2017 at 3:03 pm #764806Hi,
we recommend to work with Mailchimp, but of course you can try every other program and see if it’s compatible or not.

AndyMarch 22, 2017 at 6:53 pm #764990JohnGuestWhat plugin do you recommend that works with your theme.
*hint* answer me this and I’ll buy it :) – only because Ive asked a few times with no response one way or another :)
March 24, 2017 at 2:51 pm #766216Hi,
as already said we recommend to work with Mailchimp. With all other plugins we can’t guarantee that is will work fine. See our recommended plugin list here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins/

AndyMarch 24, 2017 at 4:30 pm #766267JohnGuestMailchimp sucks. Thanks for the list.
March 26, 2017 at 6:04 am #766817Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Please let us know if you should have any further questions.

RikardMarch 26, 2017 at 9:37 am #766894JohnGuestHey Yeah. I looked at the list. It doesn’t mention any plugin that can handle optin forms. Can you recommend one that works with your theme nicely?
March 27, 2017 at 6:02 pm #767598Hi,
unfortunately we can’t and hopefully you’ll find one which works well for you.

AndyMarch 27, 2017 at 6:06 pm #767600JohnGuestHi,
Is there a reason why you’re unable, like not having tested any, or not knowing of them? I just want to be sure I can accomplish what I need, that’s all.Maybe you know of a client who has done so? Thanks, and I won’t trouble you about this again.

March 27, 2017 at 8:02 pm #767687Hi,
exactly. We have no experience with such a plugin and have not tested one. Enfold works smoothly with Mailchimp, that’s why nothing else is needed so far. Though hope you have luck with finding one which works well for you.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 27, 2017 at 8:51 pm #767720JohnGuestInnovativemedicine,com uses your theme and they’re using optins all over that aren’t mail chimp. Just saying, for those customers that don’t use mail chimp, you guys should think of something that might accommodate them so you get more customers. Cheers
March 29, 2017 at 1:20 pm #768796Hi,
sure, there are hundreds of other plugins out there. It’s just that we can’t guarantee that they’ll work smoothly with Enfold. With Mailchimp we can guarantee and provide support here.
Best regards,
Andy -
