After reading many threads on this, still found no working solution of showing the lighter version of the Open Sans font
I did upload the font and I’ve checked it, it’s here:
wp-content/uploads/avia_fonts/type_fonts/open-sans/opensans-light.ttfIn the advanced styling I have given H1 font family Open Sans and weight: 300
I also tried to give it the style: light
I have also tried different settings in de CSS (all options mentioned in your threads)When I look at inspecter the styles are all defined properly but loading of the 300 version seem to miss here:
GEThttps://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%7COpen+Sans:400,600Apparently the font isn’t loaded locally?
Is there a sollution to this?
Thank you(PS seeing the number of issues with this, isn’t it a idea to add the open sans 300 font standard? I suppose it is THE reason to use this font anyway, because of its thin looks)

If you need a version of the font that Enfold does not load you can add it yourself.
Please have a look at our docs here

VictoriaAugust 4, 2019 at 12:33 pm #1124511Yes, well I’ve done all that, as I mentioned, the font is properly uploaded. But if I choose it for my headings it doesn’t work!
According to the inspector it doesn’t load, only the preset fonts weights (400,600 in this case)August 4, 2019 at 2:21 pm #1124527Hi Nathalie,
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 4, 2019 at 2:50 pm #1124528I know it shows exactly that, but the font shown on the website is NOT 300! Check the H1 for instance, the Title on all the pages (example: New Arrivals) This is nog 300!
I made a new user for you, details attached
like I said, it looks like it is not loading the 300 version from the root file (instead only the link to the Googleapis.com):
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%7COpen+Sans:400,600August 4, 2019 at 4:12 pm #1124547Hi Nathalie,
Can you please share the login link too?
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 4, 2019 at 4:19 pm #1124548sure! I do appreciate your efforts!!!
https://daisyjames.nathaliealbert-test.nl/wp-login.phpAugust 4, 2019 at 5:48 pm #1124567the best sollution, in my opinion is to change the GET: https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%7COpen+Sans:400,600
into only 300 (I don’t need the 400 and 600 which gives extra unwanted loading time anyway)
so into: https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%7COpen+Sans:300
How do I do that?August 5, 2019 at 8:04 pm #1124838Hi Nathalie,
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 5, 2019 at 11:38 pm #1124915I did send you another link in the meantime … (attached again in private) please try the one I send you last and I.m sorry but your anwser is not helping …
Like I said:
1) I did upload the google font: wp-content/uploads/avia_fonts/type_fonts/open-sans/opensans-light.ttf
2) All the styles are put in right in the css file (as you mentioned yourself)
3 Still not showing Open Sans 300!!!By Default the theme apparently only loads:
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%7COpen+Sans:400,600
(not my settings! these are Enfold’s)So I would like to know:
Either on how to include 300 in the google apis link in the head (preferably!!!)
OR
How to load the link from the typ_font folder of Wp contentShould be simple (it’s a font)
Please log in again and try, Ik can log in with the credentials I gave you,
Thank you
August 6, 2019 at 8:07 pm #1125229Hi Nathalie,
https://cl.ly/7f5b0caa28f3 You uploaded it – yes, but you are still choosing the font provided by the theme, please choose the bottom one.

VictoriaAugust 6, 2019 at 8:39 pm #1125255Thank you Victoria!
The simple anwer would have been:
1) Upload the font you want to use (open Sans 300)
2 Enfold Child > Advanced Styling > H1 > Open Sans (300) —– (at very bottom of list: Choose Uploaded Fonts!)
You can ignore the weight 300 in the settings: DefaultIt worked!
August 7, 2019 at 6:22 pm #1125644Hi Nathalie,
I did not understand why it was not working at first. We just did not understand each other.
