You guys have known about this issue for at least 2 years, and your responses in the forum are not helpful!
I’ll make this easy for you …
Where are the sliders located within the Enfold file system, and what are the filenames?
If they are not there, you will need to produce them!
If you do not produce them, I will contact Envato!
Regards!

January 30, 2020 at 4:35 pm #1179969Hey macrat1010,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We don’t really encounter a lot of issues with the layer slider recently. Why do you need to modify the layer slider? The whole plugin is located in the enfold > config-layerslider folder.
Please provide a link to the site and post the login details in the private field so that we can inspect the problem.

Thank you for the update.
Did you remove the theme from the kdg2 site? We couldn’t find it in the themes panel. Please upload and activate the theme so that we can check the issue. Or provide a user account for the kdg1 site.
The Enfold version I am installing is the top left one on the list!
What do you mean?
Best regards,

The Enfold theme has been uploaded, and activated … you can try to install the Demo Content part. That is the part is not working
The version I want is https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ It’s 2017, has the floor photo, then the family photo, as the big slider background pics.
The directory is still kdg2 and you have the login info!
Thanks Scott
February 5, 2020 at 2:33 am #1181604Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We tried to import the demo a few times but each attempt failed. We always get a service unavailable error — pointing to the admin-ajax.php file, which probably means that the server is timing out during the import. Unfortunately, this is not something we are very familiar with because it relates to server configurations. You should ask your hosting provider to enable the error logs and investigate why the server is timing out during the process.
If you’d like, you can import the demo manually using the xml files in the theme. Please check the documentation for more info.

IsmaelFebruary 5, 2020 at 7:30 am #1181639Hi,
I had already tried to manually import the Demo XML files, and that didn’t work either!
Tried 3 or 4 separate times to manually import the Demo content, following your instructions!
I have manually imported Demo content before on other WP sites, and have never had this problem!
Did you guys try to manually import the Demo?
Why don’t you try to manually import the demo content, and see what happens when you try it!
You already have all the login info! It hasn’t changed!
Thanks
February 9, 2020 at 3:19 am #1182678Hi,
Sorry for the delay. We encountered the same error when we tried to import the demo manually from the xml files. It times out or the server becomes unavailable. One thing that we noticed is the PHP version. It’s still at version 7.0.33. Please try to update it to v7.3 or later versions, then try to import the demo again.
If you have a localhost in your machine, you can import the demo there, then migrate it to a live domain using WP Migrate DB or any WordPress migration tool.

March 10, 2020 at 9:46 pm #1192019Hi alice56220,
Please start a separate thread, describe your issue there and give us a link to your website.
Please create a Layer Slider and add it to the page.
Best regards,
