    Hi there,

Thank you very much for the very great theme and the forum! I´ve found a lot of answers very quick here! :)

    There are two questions/problems left:

    • In my search results I´ve got just the little short content in the posts, but not at the pages. In the posts is a <p> with the text in the <div class=”entry-content” itemprop=”text”>; in the pages the <div>-Container is there, but no <p>. Have you got a tipp for me?
    • The second question is about the meta tags. I´m using Yoast SEO and it works perfect in the pages, but not in the posts. Also at the search results page is no meta title available. Have you got an idea? :)

Thank you very much for your help!!!!
    Best regards :)

    Hey bts-de!

    1) Enfold tries to fetch the content of the “excerpt” field to generate a short content for the search results. If the “excerpt” doesn’t exist (which is always the case for pages) it will use the content data and truncate the text to get a short content. If it doesn’t work on your website I recommend to deactivate all third party plugins – maybe a plugin hooks into the the_content or the_excerpt filter and breaks the short content generation.

    2) No, unfortunately I’m not sure why it doesn’t work. Maybe it’s a plugin conflict or the Yoast SEO plugin isn’t configured properly. Our theme does not strip the meta tags for sure.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for your answer!

After disabling and re-enabling the plugins, the meta-tags are now visible :)
Unfortunately the first question/problem, even if all plugins are disabled, is still there. Have you got one more tipp for me?

    Thank you very much!!
    Best regards Ela

    Hi!

    Thank you for the update.

Please post the website url here, we would like to check the search page. Make sure that you’re running the latest version of the theme. If possible, please create a dummy test page then add a dummy content on the Excerpt meta box. Name the page “Dummy Search Page” so that we can search it for testing purposes.

    Regards,
    Ismael
