    Images are not being imported when I attempt to import a variety of demos including Construction, Health, Medical.
    A few images were successfully imported on Enfold 2017

    Enfold version 421
    Server Debian GNU/Linux (shared host)
    PHP 7.1
    Memory_Limit = 512M
    Upload_max_filesize = 160
    Max_Execution_time = 300
    Allowed (not blocked) Server remote connections set for kriesi.at IP 85.13.149.161

    WP version 4.9.2
    Activated Plugins – WordPress Reset, Akismet, bbPress, WooCommerce

    WP theme Upload Folder permissions 755

    Debug Actions after every attempt
    * 5 Multiple attempts to import each demo before Reset
    * 3 Multiple attempts to re-import each demo – after a Reset
    * Reset before each attempt to load DIFFERENT demo

    Other info included in Private Content

    Thoughts? Suggestions? Alternate ways to import images?

    Thanks!

    One additional thought – are there other IP addresses other than 85.13.149.161 that my server may have to connect to for a demo import?

    Sorry for the multiple posts prior to a response. Some additional input from my hosting vendor is pasted in the private content section below regarding attempts to import the Construction Demo.

    It appears my web server is unable to fetch the images from your Kriesi.at servers.

    When I visit the Image url directly I get the following 500 Error Page:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator at (Email address hidden if logged out) to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Update: (maybe I will resolve before anybody gets to this post)
    I just discovered the Tech was looking at code code on my demo – where the images are attempting to pull from a kriesi test server – and if the demo import was successful, those same links would be updated to point to the image files in my site’s folder. So I suspect you can disregard my last private post. Sorry for the confusion on my part and thanks!

    Last post until I get a response: I apologize for the inconvenience. My hosting provider said they cannot resolve the issue on their side (where the root cause exists). Therefore, my only need at this time is to know any alternate methods to import an entire Demo? Thank you.

    Hi,

    We would like to apologize for the late response. Some servers are not compatible with the default WordPress Importer script, which is what the theme is using. If that is the case, try to import the demo on a local server or installation before migrating it to the live site. You can use the following plugin.

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    I’m not sure if that can be arranged immediately because Kriesi is quite busy at the moment. Did you try the previous suggestion? I’ll forward the thread to Kriesi.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    No worries. I migrated to a new server and IP that works perfectly. So the issue has resolved. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Glad that it is resolved. And thank you for your patience. Please feel free to open a new thread if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
