    Hi-
The mailchimp newsletter widget is in the global footer and works fine on the home page, but on the interior pages the same footer widget fails to render the form. Is this a bug youve seen before? Let me know if you want a login to look around.
    Thanks

More info: It looks like the widget is only working in sidebars of pages whose content is built with the advanced layout builder. Pretty silly. Is there a workaround for those pages using the block editor?

    Thanks for reading.

    Hi,

I checked a few of your pages but I can’t see any differences compared to the home page, please see private. Could you try to explain the problem a bit further or post a screenshot of it please?

    Best regards,

    Hi-
I got this working by installing a different MailChimp plugin from a different developer. What was happening is that the Enfold Mailchimp plugin was placed in the FooterColumn1 sidebar, but was only rendering on pages built using the Avia Page Builder. It would output the widget title, but not the form. Pages built using the WP Block editor were not displaying the MailChimp widget’s form. All other sidebar items were/are working regardless of the Page Builder type. So, unless there is some code I can add to my child theme that fixes this sort of issue, I will just use the other plugin.
    Thanks,
    Max

    Hi Max,

Thanks for the update and clarification. I’m not sure why that would be happening, are you using the page as footer option in the theme maybe?

    Hi Rikard,
I don’t know what you mean by this question…. The widgets for the footer (there are 3 sidebars, all provided by Enfold) are all showing at the bottom of each page – however just the MailChimp Newsletter widget failed to render on any page built using the Block Editor – which most pages on the site are using. I suppose that the MailChimp newsletter widget is dependent on some code which only is supplied when a page is using the Advanced Layout Builder. Anyway, this is solved for now. I would much rather my other question be addressed, and not have anyone waste their time with this one.
    Can we mark this resolved?
    Max
