    Good Afternoon.

    I have taken over a position at Bullard Law Group http://www.blgpllc.com and the person that created our website is no longer with the company. I am reaching out because our video stopped working and I would like to have my own account to manage these website functions. I appreciate your help.

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Which version of the theme are you running? You might need to update it to the latest version: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If you don’t have access to the Themeforest account which was used to purchase the theme, then please try reaching out to the person who bought it. If you can’t get the necessary details, then you might have to purchase an additional license.

    I went and purchased an additional license based on the support chat from kreaturamedia.com and I was able to update everything.
    I still have a video that is not working with no alerts on my dashboard.

    Thanks for that. I see that you are running an old version of the theme on that site. Could you try to update to the latest version (4.8.6) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    Hello,

    I have purchased the latest version however, I am not able to retrieve an API Key.

    I have looked in settings where it says it is supposed to be.

    The license has been downloaded from Themeforest.

    Thanks for the update. We can help you out with updating the theme, if you would like that. If you would, then please include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private. Also please include your purchase code.

    If you are having problems with Themeforest/Envato, then you will have to reach out to their support. Our documentation is correct as far as I know, and we haven’t had any reports of other users not being able to find information, or not being able to generate a token at the Envato platform.

    Hi Valerie,

    Thanks for that. The WordPress login details you sent are working, but we would need FTP login details as well, in order to update the theme for you. Could you provide us with those details as well please? Also please verify that you have backups of the site.

    To confirm, you need the login for our host?

    They recently ran a backup last month when a plugin broke and was no longer supported, so we should be ok to progress.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. We don’t need login details for your hosting account, and we can’t login with those details anyway, since it’s asking for verification via email or SMS. Please login to your hosting account, to see if you have get FTP login details there. If not, then please try reaching out to your hosting provider support, to see if they can provide you with the necessary details.
