Hello,
We are currently looking to change our navbar to look like our parent sites. So far it looks great, until you hover over the drop down items which right now its a basic plain drop down. When you hover over theirs, it displays a large box with everything in it which we would like to have that ability.
Do you know how we could go about doing this?
October 12, 2021 at 2:52 pm #1324584Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
Please use Mega Menu. You can find more information here – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/mega-menu/ :)
Best regards,
YigitOctober 12, 2021 at 3:14 pm #1324594Thanks for your response! I checked the documentation out prior to posting but am not finding the checkbox option to convert my current menu to megamenu objects. Once I do this I will need to style things as well but I think the documentation will give me a good start on that. Do you know if you could help me figure out why I am unable to see the megamenu option on my current navbar?
October 12, 2021 at 3:17 pm #1324596Hey,
Please go to Appearance > Menus and click on your parent menu item and there should be “Use as mega menu” checkbox – https://imgur.com/a/HeQ37Xo :)

YigitOctober 12, 2021 at 3:20 pm #1324599This is what I see and I think is causing the whole issue. I do not have the option you are showing.

October 12, 2021 at 3:26 pm #1324603Hey,
Is Appearance tab missing for you? If so, I think it could be related to your user’s role. Please make sure your user role is administrator :)

YigitOctober 12, 2021 at 3:31 pm #1324606I am the site owner on my owner account. I made screen shots, so I click on “Appearance”, then menus which brings me to the second screenshot. So I click on “Navbar” and then the drop down for “about” or any of my menu items and it does not give the checkbox option.
October 12, 2021 at 3:52 pm #1324611Hey,
I see that option is missing if I go to Appearance > Customize > Menus. So I think clicking Appearance > Menus is redirecting to Appearance > Customize > Menus on WordPress.com sites. I honestly do not have much experience with WordPress.com sites. Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it? In the meantime, I will ask our devs if we can add the option to Appearance > Customize > Menus as well :)
Best regards,
YigitOctober 12, 2021 at 4:00 pm #1324613Sure thing, I listed the credentials to a temporary admin account for you to get in and check this out.
October 12, 2021 at 4:05 pm #1324616Hi,
It seems to be redirecting to Customize > Menus as I suspected however adding /nav-menus.php to the URL seem to help. Could you please login and then go to the link I shared in private content field? :)
Regards,
YigitOctober 12, 2021 at 4:50 pm #1324625That solved this, Thank you for your help!
