    Hello, when I open my webpage this appears:

    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home4/mlv/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php on line 6

    I tried reinstalling the theme through FTP but it didn’t fix the problem. I need to fix it as soon as possible. Can you help me with this?

    #MeToo, i can still login to backend (wp-content) but running my webpage leads to a blank page, need fix asap please!

    if comment header.php line 6, website works. But i don’t know what other problems will cause this.

    Okay, I just fixed it by downloading an older version of the theme (4.2.5). Should I reinstall 4.2.6? I’ll do it now and add the ftp logins.

    I can’t provide credentials yet because you can see website only if you edit your hosts file of your windows.

    Where did you get a copy of the older version?

    I can’t edit any of my pages now after commenting out the error line. I want to downgrade, because I’m at work and need to be editing pages right now.

    Hi!

    You are currently using PHP version 5.4.45. Recommended minimum version for WordPress is 5.6 and Enfold is compatible up to 7.x.
    Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade PHP version and then let us know so we can look into it again?

    P.S.: Anyone else having the same issue, please make sure your PHP version is between 5.6 and 7.x. Latter is recommended. If that does not help, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum.
