Multi-language sites with Polylang and Cookie Consent Message in theme options

Hi there,

On various multi-language websites I am using Polylang (PRO) because as far as I’m concerned it is more user friendly than WPML. I see more and more other people using Polylang as well.

Since the GDPR update of Enfold you have created a pretty way to publish a Cookie Consent Message on Enfold websites. Thanks for that!

Unfortunately the text boxes didn’t show up in the text translations in Polylang. I contacted Polylang and they wrote a piece of code especially for Enfold which I could update to my Enfold Child’s folder to read these text boxes so that it could be translated in different languages. They however warned me that it is not 100% reliable, I quote:

…that compatibility file is especially written for the Enfold theme, and it is not even be sufficient to cover every Enfold’s functionality, it can even be obsolete if they made an update to their theme. So we write those or each case, but it is possible for developers to write those, as we’ve explained it in our documentation.

I would like to ask you if it is possible to incorporate this in a coming update of Enfold, so that these strings are automatically being taken into consideration whenever there is an update of Enfold? Or has it maybe already been noted on your “TO DO” list?
