    is it possible to have on the blog page a widget of some kind, that shows the authors and when selected, only shows the posts of that author.
    in the same way a Category widget works.

    I have been over the internet, but didnt find any. The one on multi author refer to the author page self. Which is obviously not the idea

    I thought so, maybe some one else has a solution that comes near. Not necessary a Them related solution but an external widget

    I have tried that one. The problem with most Author Widget that they refer to the author page.
    In regular WP blogs that is logic. because your fill out the author page and you can display the related blogs of that author

    however, I do not use an author page. I like to sort the blog page by author.

    Hey!

    I don’t know of any plugins I can recommend. You can always display the author links to the archives which will display all posts from the author but getting a filter with AJAX functionality would take a lot of time and code and would have to be considered custom work.
