    Hello,
I’ve jut installed Enfold and I find it very beautiful and easy to use. However the css file enfold-child.css is not loading on some devices / browsers, resulting in blue fonts for links / transparent background…

    – On my windows laptop (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge) : everything is OK
    – Firefox on Samsung tablet : everything is OK
    – on iPad (safari or Firefox), iPhone (Safari), MacBook (Safari) : problem
    – on Samsung Tablet (Samsung browser) : problem
I’ve checked with the inspector on a MacBook and enfold-child.css is not loading.
I’ve tried to deactivate all the plugins, but it doesn’t help.

For now I’ve fixed the issue by copying the entire content of enfold-child.css into the style.css of the child theme, it works but I would prefer the theme to work normally!

Please take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks in advance,
    Magali

    Hey Xali,

Can you try to flush out if you have caching plugins and disable all plugins then check it. I can see a lot of js errors in the console.

    Best regards,

    Hi Nikko,
    Thanks for helping me!
I’ve disabled all plugins but the Domain Mapping one, I still have the same problem.
There seems to be something wrong between the content of enfold-child.css / Apple devices / domain mapping.
I’ve uploaded an empty css file in the same folder, I can open it on Apple devices. But the enfold-child.css can’t be opened on Apple, it’s weird on my iPad safari starts to load the page and the entire content appears, then after 2 seconds it disappears and I just have “Safari can’t open this page”. If I try to open the file with the non mapped path (wp-content/blogs.dir/21/files/dynamic_avia/enfold-child.css), it works.
    Please see links in Private.
    Thank you!

    Hi,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi Basilis,
    Thanks for your help,
I’ve just tried and I still have the same problem on iPhone and iPad, some css is missing. In particular the menu font is still blue with transparent background, see screenshot
If I try to open the css file (enfold-child.css) directly in the browser, it still starts to load then stops and I’ve got a “connection lost” message. nb : the same files opens nicely on my windows laptop.
nb : I’ve cleared the browser’s cache, if I should clear some other cache please let me know.
    It’s really weird…
    Kind regards
    Magali

    Hi Basilis,
Thanks for your help. I will ask my hosting company.
In case they can’t fix it, is there a way to change the location of this enfold-child.css file? There seems to be a problem only in this particular location.
    Thanks and warm regards,
    Magali

Yes, that is possible but we don’t recommend it because you’ll have to modify the parent theme files each time the theme is updated. Please check the file and folder permission of the “dynamic_avia” directory and the whole “uploads” folder.
