there are a few pages I will be hosting that require a lot of server resources to calculate and therefore, I only want to allow a user to open the page ONCE per browser. I was stunned to find out that WordPress while offering same window or tab or new window or tab does not let you specify a spcific target – which as basic as it gets for calling a url…crazy. I will most likely need to modify the php to accomplish this unless there is a plugin for it. In anycase, would anyone be so kind as to point in int he right direction as to where I should go to modify the php in the menu system

    Hey mocablue!

The default behaviour is the same page but you can also have WordPress have it open in a new tab. I do not know of any other way to change that and it would have to be considered custom work.

I’m not really sure if what your trying to do is possible or not so I don’t know where to point you in the right direction. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.

    Cheers!
