Everything is updated, including the theme, but I cannot access the media library from the text editor. I just see a blank page, with a little sign that it’s loading (but it never loads).
I already tried deactivating all plugins , but without effect.
Maybe related? I also don’t succeed in uploading a new favicon – even not when I use a link instead of the media library.
Thanks for your help!

VictoriaJune 29, 2020 at 5:23 pm #1226527Hi Victoria,
Thank you!
I updated to php 7.3, but I still see no contents in the media library.
Also, I don’t succeed in uploading the favicon in the enfold option section, can you tell me how to achieve that?
Greetings,
AylaJune 29, 2020 at 8:03 pm #1226569Hi Ayla,
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your ThemeForest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works.

VictoriaJune 29, 2020 at 10:36 pm #1226616Hello Victoria,
Yes, I understand, and that’s what I already did when installing the theme. Just to be sure, I deleted enfold and reinstalled it again now through ftp – but it still makes no difference in the media library and the favicon (which also doesn’t work whenI use a link to upload it).
I hope you have something else up your sleeve for me :)

July 1, 2020 at 6:40 am #1227100Hi Ayla,
Thanks for the update. The WordPress media gallery isn’t working in Grid Mode if you go to the URL in private either, I’m not sure why though since you don’t have any active plugins and I can’t reproduce the problem on a local installation running the same version as you are. Could you try reinstalling WordPress to see if that helps? You could also try activating a different theme in order to verify that it’s not a theme problem.
Best regards,
RikardJuly 1, 2020 at 8:04 pm #1227325Hi Rikard,
I already tried both options, and tried them again now…. but no success.
Could you at the least please help me to change the favicon? I promised my client to do that, but that whole function isn’t working in the enfold options section. Also not through a link (circumventing the media library). I mentioned this problem in y 3 previous messages, but didn’t hear anything back about it yet.
Thanks!
Ayla
July 4, 2020 at 12:42 pm #1227905Hi,
Thanks for the login, your favicon.png which is uploaded via the theme options is showing in the page source code correctly, this issue is due to browsers looking for the favicon.ico in the root of the domain. This article explains why Favicon not showing up in WordPress specifically, the last reason is: “You also need to add the .ico file to the site’s root”
Please try adding the file linked in the Private Content area to the root of your domain via ftp or your web host file manager.Best regards,
