    Hi Support Team,

    Recently I start to have problems with the media library. Uploading an image will not show in the media library.
    I checked the server and it is there. I verified the read write permissions and nothing is changed.
    Repeatedly uploading or adding from the server (via plugin) or editing the ’empty’ image will sometimes be successful and the image is displayed.
    In the private’s content are my details.
    Please advise me.

    Hey Maarten,

    Thanks for the login details. I get the same problem when I try to upload an image, the server is responding with 404 errors on some image, I can’t say why unfortunately. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they know why that is happening please? Also please try to activate one of the default WordPress themes to see if the problem continues or not.

    Hey Rikard,

    Interesting. I can upload an image via FTP to the wp-content/uploads/2019/11/ folder and the image is there.
    Next iIuse the ‘add from server’ plugin to add the image to the media library.
    The image icon in the media library is ’empty’ but the image is there.
    I tested another Enfold website on the same server and it doesn’t have any issues.
    So I think it is not a server related issue but something is happening in this website.
    What can be the next step to test?

    Hi Maarten,

    Thanks for the update. I don’t think it’s a theme issue, but I can’t say for sure yet. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.6.3.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    I was having the same issue and the fix was to change the theme. I had previously deactivated all plugins to see if one of them was causing this issue, but nothing changed until I changed my theme from Enfold to a standard WordPress theme.

    Any fix for this?
