    Hello, and seasonal greetings!

    Is it safe to disable generation of different sizes images in media library,
    or adaptive template uses some of them?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    After previous sysadmin my media library is the crazy mess with more than 1000 randomly named pics without alts.
    I wanted sort it and optimise. Native media-library is slow and is not convenient.
    I consider to use https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-real-media-library-media-categories-folders/13155134?locale=en
    real media library which will help with folders and renaming.
    I do not know mechanisms how your theme works, I see pictures with the static names and it seems that generated thumbs are not used in frontend.
    1. If you do not suggest to disable thumbs I will not, thank you
    2. May I use safely Real Media Library plugin?
    3. I bought W3 Total cache which compressed everything to *.webp. Could I find and replace all pics in wp_posts contents to webp?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    1.) You can safely remove some of the thumbnails if you think they’re not going to be used. Most of them are only loaded on smaller screens or mobile devices.

    2.) We haven’t tested the plugin, but it shouldn’t conflict with the theme. Please contact the plugin developers for more info.

    3.) The plugin should automatically do this without editing the database. Again, you can contact the plugin developers or refer to their documentation for additional info.
