Hi All,
I am really needing some help here, as I do not have a lot of MySQL knowledge. I have recently discovered my disk space is being over it’s limits by a MASSIVE amount. After looking at the MyPHPAdmin interface, I see that it’s coming from the WordPress “Options” table. When I discovered the issue yesterday, it was sitting at 47GB (yes GB)… and now I check it this morning just 13 hours later it’s now at 54GB.
I don’t even know where to begin to fix this issue. Can someone please help? It’s seems to be tied to Avia/Enfold.
Again, I do not know a lot about doing things with a database.
Thank you,
Patrick
Hey Patrick,
I updated the theme to the latest version and then applied steps recommended here – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/optimization/#troubleshoot. Please clear server cache and then enable JS and CSS file merging and compression if desired :)
Cheers!
Yigit
Thank you Yigit. I didn’t want to update because I wasn’t sure that it would allow the writing of new files because it’s out of disk space.
How exactly do I clear the server cache? Is that something I do through WordPress, or the cPanel?
Thank you again. :)
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Are you using a cache plugin? There should be a dedicated button to purge the cache manually. If you’re not using any plugin, you can ask your hosting provider if your server is actually storing or caching any data and if it can be deleted manually.
Best regards,
Ismael
