    I’ve created a Maintenance page and it’ll show up when I enter my homepage but can I still work on my website. Can I see somewhere a demo of what i’ve created before. My point is, that I would like to have the website fully ready before showing it to the public.

    Hi kleinpenning,

    If you want to actually block of the rest of your site you’ll need to use a plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-maintenance-mode/ .

    The blank page template isn’t a full lock down for the site and is just to act as a placeholder to prevent the main index from showing.
