    Trying to troubleshoot Main Slider issue, but unable to access home page’s advanced layout editor. The main slider works exactly as original demo, only with custom images. I think the issues appeared with latest update. Can you help me diagnose?

    Now my main slider is working as it should be, However, the advanced layout editor is giving me the “in progress” spinning animation.

    Hey!

    Could you try to overwrite the theme via FTP to see if that works? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hello Rikard!

    I’ve tried overwriting the theme. That didn’t seem to work at first. I disabled all of my plugins and that fixed it. Then I activated each plugin until I isolated the problem with the Askimet plugin. Then I went into the advanced layout editor to check out what might be happening to the main slider issue. I turned off the “Use Google CDN version of jQuery” button, saved and all was fixed. Then I turned on Askimet and all works perfectly. Hopefully this gives you insight to what was happening?

    Hi!

    So.. you’re saying that it is fixed? I checked the page and the slider is working. Access the dashboard, edit a page and the advance layout builder is working as well.
