    The hack works but needs to be added in a child theme or re-added anytime there is a theme update.

    I was hoping the new update included a fix for this.

    It does not work for me. When I add the code, I cannot load my page (I just get a blank, white screen) Can someone please help with a solution for this?

    Glad it’s working for you. Kriesi might add it into a future update, but until then please use a child theme.

    Can you provide us admin access please? so we can take a closer look. Make sure to use newest theme and WordPress version.

    Hey!

    when I try it with my mailchimp api on my own installation it works totally fine and it seem that for others it does work too. So something must cause is especially on your end. Did you already try to deactivate all plugins, to check if one is causing this issue? please contact mailchimp support about this issue as well. Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily for testing purposes?

    Andy, I have tried deactivating all plug ins, and still can’t get it to work. It did work right when I installed the theme (I am still building the website). You may absolutely deactivate all of my plains temporarily for testing purposes. Thanks for your help, and I look forward to a reply! I will contact mail chimp support as well.

    Andy–strange. I added the work around and it worked today. Don’t know why it didn’t work yesterday.

    Hey!

    I will add the sslverify argument directly to the api call so the snippet should no longer be required. Please let me know if this fixes the issue after updating to version 3.5 – the new version will be released at the end of this or very early next week ;)
