    Hi,
    my website was perfect but, the day after i lost menu size type, submenu size type, width of the main window content (normally full width), body size type…
    All my enfold/advanced styles are her. So I tryed to reset some but no effect (tested a MENU type size to 40px but it display on front end a kind of small 10px for example).
    The ENFOLD cookies tool seems to have an issue too… When trying to disable it i have this message: Saving didnt work! Please reload the page and try again.

    7.1.4 ENFOLD RUNNING and reinstalled for testing
    PHP : 8.3.23

    For info: i installed/tested Forminator, CRM Peks Form, Eventon.
    I try to deactivated all plugins. No results

    EDIT*** Now the ENFOLD Save all update button each time gives: “Saving didnt work! Please reload the page and try again.”

    Hey jb84,

    There is a 500 internal server error on the file in private while saving the theme options. Why that is I can’t say unfortunately, you would have to share server error logs with us, or reach out to your hosting provider.

    The missing styling was likely due to a missing curly bracket at the end of your Quick CSS code:

    time.slide-meta-time {
        display: none!important;
    }
    .av-inner-tab-title {
        font-size: 15px;
        font-weight: bold;
    }
    #top .av_header_glassy.av_header_transparency #header_main {
        background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8);

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Thk Rikard!
    All seem good now.
    Your admin-ajax.php respond 0 does it means everythink is good now?

    #1496429

    Hey jb84,

    Thank you for the update.

    Glad to know the issue is resolved. Regarding your question about admin-ajax.php returning 0 — yes, a response of 0 from admin-ajax.php is actually normal in WordPress when the ajax action completes without ereturning a value. It just means the request was processed and there’s nothing to return. You don’t need to worry about it.

    To avoid the Quick CSS issue in the future, make sure every opening curly brace in your css has a matching closing brace before saving.

    Please feel free to open a new thread if you have more questions.

    Have a nice day.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. There is still a 500 internal server error on admin-ajax.php while trying to save the theme options. Did you try reaching out to your hosting provider, and what did they have to say about it? If you need further help from us, then we would need to see the server error logs.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi rik
    On this same server I have 2 websites with enfold. The one in www work well for save or update.
    The one in www2 have this issue so it can’t be a server error?

    #1496547

    Ok I have the error logs

    #1496549

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, but that seems to be an access log. We need a log where the fatal error is displayed. If you need help with finding that, then please reach out to your hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1496550

    Ok this should be the error logs

    #1496571

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, but there are no fatal errors in that log either.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1496577

    Ok thanks to study my issue but I need to solve it very quickly.
    Has I said: I can’t update plugins, can’t save enfold settings, can’t set Google recaptcha.
    Because of enfold message.

    Thanks for your help!

    #1496590

    Hi,

    Enfold is displaying that since the server is returing a 500 internal server error, Enfold does not control your server.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1496610

    It looks that there is an ENFOLD issue because when clicking on SAVE under ENFOLD settings there is an error message Impossible to save and asking to reload. BUT the save is made correctly.
    Can you go forward and/or give me tech info that i can provide to my hoster.
    Or provide me thinks i can test ? I already desactivated all plugins, reset by default the htaccess

    #1496614

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    This looks like a modsec or firewall issue. You’ll need to ask your hosting provider (OVH) to whitelist admin-ajax.php from that specific ModSecurity rule. You can share this with them — the blocked URI is /index.php (since WordPress routes admin-ajax.php through it), the rule is found in modsecurity_crs_21_protocol_anomalies.conf at line 83 with rule id 960904, and it’s blocking POST requests from WordPress admin that are missing a Content-Type header.

    Let us know if the issue persists after your host adjusts the ModSecurity rules.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,
    so after few days with the hoster support and deactivating the firewall, im coming back.
    In advance thk for your help, the issue is maybe near the end.

    So now i can save under ENFOLD settings everything is find at this point and Google verifying recaptcha works.
    But i have a very last (but big) issue:

    If i edit and update home page, on front end: only first half of the page display (only occure with homepage)
    I have to edit again and load a previous version and save to restore.

    So i tested cloning the homepage, make some updates and save, this is very strange because not only this cloned page load only first half (and enterely loose the rest if go back to modify) but the homepage itself (not the coned ones) have an error load the first banner image! For info i didn’t edit it in this test, just edit the cloned ones.
    To resum this issue is: making update on a page and save makes erasing a part of the codes.

    To finish, maybe it’s important, on the WP webpages list, in front of an old homepage it displays the text: homepage but the real one isn’t this one.

    I really need that we fix this soon because i can’t make any uptdate on my homepage! And i spend so much time on this issue…

    Hi,

    Which page are you using for testing? I checked the one in private, but I can’t see any problems there.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1496725

    on private

    #1496737

    Hi,

    You have selected to hide those elements in the element options, check your settings again please.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1496749

    Hi Rikard, thanks but no some elements are hiden for smatphone only.
    I’ll try to explain it more clearly.
    I open, edit, and save the file named “NAME IN PRIVATE”
    Than I check the frontend, and for example, the last “custom layout” block disappears. Or sometimes 75% (!!!) of the page content that should be visible on a PC!

    So if you can test it and compare this page before and after a simple text edit, you’ll see what I mean.

    2nd ISSUE (but maybe same)
    I think there’s definitely a problem with Enfold because when you set a homepage in Enfold’s settings, the text “homepage” normally appears after the page title in the list of site pages. The problem here is that it puts this “homepage” text on a different page or doesn’t put it there at all!

    3rd issue (but maybe same)
    You will see on this screen shoot: https://chatel-en-trieves.fr/enfold.jpg that firt title displays H2 well BUT the other 3 titles are displaying wrong on italics. I check html codes: they are SAME!

    Can you test this and try to resolve those issues as soon as possible? (because I can’t change the welcome page.)

    #1496752

    Hi,

    Thank you for the information.

    Did you add any html tags in the page or in the custom layout? Please make sure that all tags are closed properly or are valid, otherwise they will break the Advanced Layout Builder or cause content after the invalid html tag to get removed. Please review the page and check for invalid html tags. Let us know if the issue persists.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #1496762

    Hi
    so i enterely redo my homepage from a blank page. Issue is solve, so maybe as you said a code error.
    My second issue is still there: on WP pages list it does show the text “HOMEPAGE” just after the title.
    Is it important?

    #1496768

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I’m not sure that I fully understand your final question, could you post a screenshot highlighting it please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    #1496775

    Sure screen shot private

    #1496785

    Hi,

    Are you expecting that a marker “homepage” will display beside the page? It’s not really important as long as the intended home page is actually displaying as the front page. If the marker is not displaying, it’s either a plugin overriding the hooks or filters that the theme or WordPress has set.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
