Every time I save a page I lose elements which were created for the page. It seems almost random. But I’ll create a page with 6 or 7 rows of content and when I publish/update the page any rows I’ve created beyond the first few disappear without warning. Please advise.

It can be that some elements in your templates are added in another version of the theme and Advanced Layout Builder options can be outdated and so it breaks. You might want to build some new templates.

VictoriaJust create a page and load the template Superchrome 2020 LOOK with your own eyes at the page thats laid out. Hit publish and see everything disappear.

VictoriaGreat catch on the closed tags. I corrected this error. However I am still receiving the same negative results. Half the page breaks off and will not save, seemingly at a Grid Row section.

Do you still have the page where Superchrome 2020 template is based? The half of the page is missing because half of the template shortcodes are missing. Please provide a link to the actual page which the template is based on so that we can check the issue further.

The page https://superchrome.ca/newsite/superchrome-2020/ is as close as I could get the page to be at a finished stage. It seems that if I make any changes to this page anymore it will break and not save somewhere in the middle of the page.When you say shortcodes are missing what do you mean?
You can see the avia layout builder in the backend load the template.Thank you

We found a few syntax errors in the page such as missing closing html tag, so there might be a few others out there that we didn’t notice. This can cause the page to break after an update. Also, some of the shortcodes are missing and unrecoverable but we don’t really know why.
This is an example of the error — closing tag for strong element is missing.
<strong>Get the BEST prices we’ve ever had on Superchrome!You might have to re-create the page from scratch and make sure that all tags are closed properly.

IsmaelWhen you say that some shortcodes are missing or unrecoverable could you explain this more. How can I fix this. does plugins need to be updated. Theme files??? Everything in the core was updated fully as far as I can tell.

Please remove the “GET” from the text and see if the whole issue persists. We had cases when Advanced Layout Builder breaks because of this word :/
